Pantry Meals: Chicken and Rice Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Thrive Life Chopped Chicken freeze-dried
  • 1/2 cup Thrive Life Green Peas freeze-dried
  • 2 cups Thrive Life Instant White Rice
  • 22.6 oz Cream of Chicken Soup one family sized can
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Thrive Life Garlic freeze-dried
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups Thrive Life Shredded Cheddar Cheese divided

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Reconstitute chopped chicken with warm water and set aside. Cook instant white rice according to directions.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine reconstituted chopped chicken, green peas, instant rice, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic, salt, pepper, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Once combined, pour into to casserole dish.
  • Top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
  • Optional: top with fresh diced parsley for garnish.
